If you are using CohortAI on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Subscription pricing is displayed on our website. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. Founding members receive locked-in pricing as specified in their subscription agreement.
We offer refunds within 14 days of your initial purchase if you are not satisfied. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable except as required by law. Enterprise customers may have different refund terms specified in their agreements.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods unless otherwise required by law.
All content, features, and functionality of CohortAI, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, AI models, software, and course materials, are owned by Instructive Systems and protected by intellectual property laws. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the service for personal educational purposes only.
You retain ownership of any content you provide (conversations, responses, submissions). By using CohortAI, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze your content to:

We do not guarantee that CohortAI will help you pass certification exams or achieve specific learning outcomes. Success depends on many factors, including your effort and prior knowledge.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INSTRUCTIVE SYSTEMS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Instructive Systems from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We may delete your data in accordance with our data retention policies.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of CohortAI shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive your right to a jury trial and to participate in class action lawsuits.
Either party may seek equitable relief in court for intellectual property disputes or to enforce arbitration provisions.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-platform notification at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of CohortAI after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to changes, you must stop using the service and cancel your subscription.
These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Instructive Systems regarding CohortAI.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to do so later.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations without restriction.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from causes beyond our reasonable control.

Certification exam marks and trademarks are the property of their respective owners. Passing certification exams is not guaranteed and depends on individual effort and circumstances.
